Recipe: Rawsome Kale Chips!



I know this guy who actually SWEARS that these taste better than potato chips with a beer! Well, one thing is for sure, they're better for the arteries!

Ingredients



I large bunch Kale

1 cup cashews (soaked 2hrs or more)



1 Large Red Bell Pepper, seeded and chopped


4 tablespoons lemon juice

2 Tablespoons Nutritional Yeast

¼ onion

2 tsp Chipotle pepper powder

1tsp Chilli powder

¼ tsp turmeric

½ tsp Sea Salt or more to taste

Method

Blend up in food processor till smooth.

Tear or chop kale into approx. 2’’ x 2’’ pieces (no maths required just make them around the same size)

Take about ½ a cup of mixture and place in a large bowl

Take a small handful of your torn kale and coat it quickly using tongs

Lay out on a dehydrator tray.

Continue till finished.

Dehydrate 1t 45ÂșC for about 24 hours.
Yes you need a dehydrator or you can use your oven at 50deg C with the door ajar, but really, why would you? Ditch the damn microwave and get yourself into the new century!


Try to make them last after all that effort!
